Uplifter is a SaaS startup, that was born at Mezzo Labs. It's campaign analytics management software that helps to create smart links, track and manage links with optimizing user ad campaigns for three groups of users: solo marketers, agencies, and enterprises.
It turned out that the main problem we faced was a business model focused on the product and not on the user. Using the information obtained from various studies, we came up with a new vision for the design of the website based on the collected ideas. As a result, we were able to clarify the value proposition of the SaaS platform, simplify the perception of information by making it more visual and accessible, and restructure website navigation to help users explore the product depending on their needs and tasks.
We conducted research to understand what was business challenges, by interviewing the stakeholders and a product team, it turns out that a major issue we faced is being a product-oriented business model, rather than a user first. Overall website's look and feel don't match the interpretation of SaaS business. Website does not work well for any users, starting with navigation, missing information to visual style.
As a result, we have redesigned the navigation, making it intuitive and simplifying the search process. We've combined a lot of information with visuals to make it easier to learn about the product and showcase what users can achieve with it. At the same time, we redesigned and brought to a unified style about sixty product and process schemes, as well as created layouts and advertising guidelines.
The development of the project was carried out by specialists from the customer. Our team prepared documentation and layouts for transferring the project to development, we also accompanied the project during its development. After development, we tested all the pages on different devices, checked the correct display of information, made sure that the product was working properly and there were no bugs.
I am overwhelmed by the work the team has done. They have done a lot of research to improve the user experience and make it easier to learn the product, and added new features to the site. They provided a well thought out website design that is unique and attractive. It's been a great experience and I'm very pleased with how customers have responded to this change.
