SHL Builders is general contracting & construction management in New York. The main company focus is residential construction and remodeling. The owners gained construction experience from the bottom and worked their way up.
We made the strategic decision to migrate the website to a new online platform for increased managing flexibility. One of the main decision was to keep the some of the initial brand styles, that translate company’s value for customers.
We performed a usability review of the previous version of the company's website, and conducted research to improve the user experience. We then designed a new digital experience to be more informative, intuitive, and seamless throughout.
The minimalistic and modern design creates an effective visual representation of the construction company SHL Builders, reflecting their professionalism and reliability. The color scheme and typography emphasize the corporate identity, provide information in an attractive and intuitive way, and help build trust with customers. At the same time, the style of the site was completely redesigned, thanks to which it was possible to reflect the professionalism of the company and increase its credibility.
For development we were using Webflow platform, adding some custom code for CMS library to enable more accessible way to manage website content without platform experience. After development, we tested all the pages on different devices, checked the correct display of information, made sure that the product was working properly and there were no bugs.
During the active growth of the business, it became necessary to update the existing site. With this task, we turned to our partners from Designerley, who developed the old version of the site. The whole process of working on a new site was divided into stages, each of which was agreed with me. I was happy to work again with a team that works for the result and is responsible for all its actions. The new site turned out to be attractive and informative, it allowed us to better tell about ourselves and show our individuality. My satisfaction with today's results is greater than I could have imagined.
